The story begins with the launch of Saccharomyces Boulardii CNCM I 745® on the Belgian and Luxembourg market under the name Enterol®.

Biocodex quickly became the leader in probiotic yeasts in Belgium and worldwide.
Building on this success, Biocodex has continued its development by becoming a recognized expert in microbiota.
In order to consolidate and share its expertise, Biocodex has created two entities with the objective of promoting and disseminating its research in this field.

Respectively - The Biocodex Microbiota Institute and the Biocodex Microbiota Foundation.

Biocodex Benelux has also developed over the years its presence in other therapeutic areas such as dermatology.
Its flagship products are known as Flammazine and Kelo Cote.

Very recently Biocodex acquired the pharmaceutical laboratory Iprad.
Iprad with the brands Saforelle, Mucogyne is the leader in the feminine hygiene category in France, Belgium and Luxembourg.

With this acquisition, Biocodex Benelux now has three pillars of growth.
