Takeda Belgium offers patients a wide portfolio of products prescribed by specialists, general practitioners and pharmacists. Our aim is to provide both patients and healthcare professionals the treatments they need, often in therapeutic areas that can be as challenging as oncology, bowel diseases and hematology.  

Takeda Belgium's roots go back to 1835, with the creation of Christaens NV, which became Nycomed after a merger, with Sanders Probel.  In 2007, Nycomed accquiered Altana Pharma, a large German pharmaceutical company, and gained considerable strength on the Belgian market.  In 2011, the company became part of the Takeda group and was renamed Takeda Belgium.
